Japanese Support for the 2000s
The NAS 2000s supports Japanese but a conversion process must
be competed before running Rapid Startup. To convert the 2000s
into Japanese, perform the following steps:
1. Connect a keyboard, monitor, and mouse.
2. Login to the local console using the Administrator account.
The password is blank.
3. Select Run from the Start menu.
4. Enter the following:
c:\hpnas\Conv.vbs
5. Select Ye s to convert the system to Japanese and restart the
server.
6. After the system restarts, download the Japanese Web UI
support Softpaq for the NAS 2000s from
www.hp.com to the
NAS device and apply the softpaq.
