The following is required before using the CST:
Server names
Domain name for the cluster
Cluster name
Static IP Address for cluster use
Domain account with administrative privileges for the cluster service (account
must have the “logon as a service” privilege)
A LUN formed as a Mirrorset on the SAN for the Quorum Disk
Create at least two LUNs formed as RAID 3/5 RAIDsets on the SAN
Static IP addresses and network names for virtual servers
Starting the CST
Open Internet Explorer on a Windows-based PC that has network access to the NAS
device. Enter
http:// and the host name of one of the NAS devices for the cluster
followed by
:3201. Press Enter. This launches the CST on the target StorageWorks
NAS device.
Example:
http://node1:3201.
CST Checklist Screens
All information from the CST Prerequisites section must be gathered prior to using
the CST. The CST transitions between both nodes in a cluster in order to set up the
nodes simultaneously.
IMPORTANT: While using the CST, you must check all of the check boxes to proceed to the
next screen.
