Place the UPS On/Off switch in the On position. UPS battery recharge time is
from 4 to 6 hours. You can begin configuring the RAID Array 3000 while the
UPS is charging, but do not attempt to fully utilize the storage system with
data transfers before the UPS battery is fully charged. I/O transfers during a
UPS battery charging cycle could result in a loss of data. For example, a
device drive shelf could fail during a transfer due to insufficient battery
current.
