Pre-Installation Steps
This chapter describes the preparation needed before installing and
configuring the RAID Array 3000/Cluster components.
The pre-installation steps required to support clustering follow:
■ Verify the (RA3000) Cluster System Requirements
■ Inventory the RAID SCSI Connection Kit
■ Perform System Backups
■ Plan the RAID Subsystem Cluster Component Layout (for example, the
UltraSCSI Bus Interconnect)
■ Prepare the SCSI Host Adapter Boards
