If preparing Host A with the NTFS partition drive letters successfully
reassigned or newly created, as applicable, Host A is prepared for a cluster. To
prepare Host B, return to “Procedures for Preparing Both Host Servers for a
Cluster” and repeat all of the preceding steps on Host B.
IF PREPARING HOST B
If preparing Host B with the NTFS partition drive letters successfully
reassigned, Host B is prepared for a cluster then proceeds.
Installing and Configuring Windows NT
Cluster Software on Both Host Servers
NOTE: Host A and Host B must be prepared see “Checklist for Preparing Host A and
Host B for a Cluster
” before installing Windows NT Cluster software.
You are now ready to install and configure Windows NT Cluster software on
both of your host servers, as described in the manual provided with your
cluster software. You can begin with Host A or Host B.
