To save a baseline configuration to a file
1. Ensure that file transfer properties between the switches and your host are configured. See
“Configuring File Transfer Options” on page 14-9 for additional information.
2. Log in to the switch that has the configuration that you want to save as your baseline. See “Logging
In to Multiple Switches Simultaneously” on page 4-4 for additional information.
3. Select Tasks > Configuration Management > Save Baseline.
The Save Baseline -- Configuration Template Selection dialog box opens (see Figure 11-13).

4. Select Full Configuration, then click Next.
The Save Baseline -- Switch Selection window opens (see Figure 11-14).

5. From the SAN Elements tab, select the switch that has the configuration you want to save, then
click the right-arrow to add it to the right-hand window.
6. Click OK.
The Save Baseline -- Parameter Selection window opens (see Figure 11-15).
