Enabling Secure Mode

To launch the Secure Fabric wizard to create a secure fabric
1. In the Information Panel, right-click the fabric for which you want to enable security and choose
Security > Enable Secure Mode from the context menu.
The Enable Secure Mode for Fabric wizard is launched (see Figure 17-1).

2. Follow the instructions in the wizard to enable secure mode for the fabric.
The wizard is self-explanatory, so the individual steps are not described in this document.
Caution
One of the steps in the wizard is to optionally create a set of policies (see Figure 17-2 on
page 17-3). If you create policies without Fabric Manager client/server IP addresses,
