17. Select the size of the SAN that Fabric Manager will be managing (Table 2-1 lists the polling rates
for each SAN size).
18. Click Next.
The Important Information window appears.
19. Ensure that the Services window is closed (as described in the Information window); then click
Next.
When the Fabric Manager installation finishes, the Install Complete window appears.

1. Medium SANs can take between 5 and 10 minutes to update for some actions. Large SANs can take
between 30 to 60 minutes to update for some actions. You should issue a refresh manually for immediate
updates. Using Refresh Status Information to refresh a switch typically provides quicker updates than refreshing
an entire fabric.
