Description
Fabric OS 5.3.1b is a firmware release that contains fixes since the release of Fabric OS 5.3.1a. It also
includes al
l fixes from the Fabric OS 5.2.3 release on the 5.2 stream. There is no new device support
added with this release for HP StorageWorks p latforms.
Update recommendations
HP supports Fabric OS 5.3.1b on the SAN Switch 2/8v, SAN Switch 2/16V, SAN Switch 2/32, and
SAN Switch 2/128 switches only. This release is N OT supported on 4 Gb or 8Gb switches.
NOTE:
If upgrading from Fabric OS 5.1.x with switches running 2.6.x in the fabric, upgrading to 5.3.1b is not
supported unless 2.6.x switches are separated by a router.

Fabric OS 5.3.1a released in May, 2008.
