FICON update
HP does not support IBM Fibre Connections (FICON) in this Fabric OS 5.1.1b firmware
release. See h
ttp://www.hp.com for a list of currently supported features.
Firmware upgrades and d owngrades
HP does not support upgrading from more than two previous releases, for example,
upgrading from Fabric OS 4.4.x to 5.1.1b is supported but upgrading from Fabric OS
4.2.x or a previous release directly to 5.1.1b is not. Upgrading a switch from Fabric
OS 4.2.0 or earlier to 5.1.1b requires a two-step process: first upgrade to v4.4.0 or
5.
0.1 and then upgrade to 5.1.1b.
