Description

Fabric OS 5.1.1b is a patch release containing fixes since the release of Fabric OS

5.1.1a. Aside from these changes, this maintenance release includes the same feature

set as Fabric OS 5.1.1a. All defects newly closed in Fabric OS 5.1.1b are listed in

Table 5. Fabric OS 5.1.1b also includes fixes from patch releases Fabric OS 5.1.0a

through 5.1.1 a.

For those u

sers who desire to remain on the Fabric OS 5.1.1x firmware stream, it is

recommended to update to Fabric OS 5.1.1b as soon as possible. However, it is

anticipated tha t support for Fabric OS 5.1.1x will no longer be provided when HP

releases Fabric OS 5.3.x in mid-2007. To avoid running an unsupported configuration,

please plan for this change.
