Enhancements
Enhancements for Automated Storage Manager 4.1 include:
• Support for Microsoft® Windows® Storage Server™ 2008 R2 Standard x64 Edition
• Support for Data Protector Express 5.0 and earlier Data Protector Express versions 4.0 SP1 and

Fixes
The following defects were fixed in ASM 4.1:
• Fixed an issue in which NFS Share folder creation failed when there were spaces in share folder
name.
• Updated the error message for failure to connect to an application server to indicate that the ASM
agent needs to be installed on the application server.
• Fixed an issue in which ASM took up to three minutes to load on HP X1800 Network Storage
Systems.
Prerequisites
If you are running a version of Automated Storage Manager released prior to ASM 4.0, you must
first upgrade to ASM 4.0 before upgrading to ASM 4.1.
