Enhancements • All the tasks in ICT (HP Initial Configuration Tasks) are now identified by step numbers in the Taskgroup. This helps you to sequentially configure the servers. • The Network Configuration Tool is provided to configure the networking on the server. This tool provides all the network related configuration tasks in a single tool such as IP setting, Network Team configuration, VLAN ID setting, Network Validation, and so on.

Network Configuration Tool • If you select Do not configure network interface VLAN identifiers now after assigning VLAN IDs to Teams or adapters, the assigned IDs are not removed. For all Teams and adapters, you must navigate through each VLAN page and select Do not add a VLAN ID to this Team. • If you assign the same subnet mask to more than one network interface on the same server, it might have unexpected results.
HP recommends that you configure networking with the available data as NCT is a one time configuration tool. To make further changes in the configuration, perform one of the following actions to launch Network control panel: ◦ Double-click the Network Settings shortcut on the desktop. ◦ Click Windows Server Manager→Tools→HP StoreEasy and then click the Network Settings link. If you want to configure the network again using NCT, then you must delete all Teams and VLANs using Windows Server Manager.
Windows Server Manager • In Windows Server Manager, the Repair Virtual Disk option is unavailable. When a virtual disk fails, you cannot use the Repair Virtual Disk option in Windows Server Manager to fix it because the option is unavailable. Nor can you use the Repair-VirtualDisk cmdlet in Windows PowerShell. Instead, you may be able to use the Array Configuration Utility to repair a failed virtual disk, depending on the type of failure.
