Description These release notes describe HP StoreEasy 5000 Storage software version 3.02.0a. IMPORTANT: Included with your storage system is the HP Storage System Recovery DVD. This DVD is used to restore the system to factory defaults. Keep this DVD in a safe place.
Workarounds General • In certain situations, the following message may display: Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed? This is a known issue that is being addressed by Oracle. Click Yes on the message window to proceed. • The front panel health indicator (LED) may not reflect the health of both storage system nodes. One node may not indicate any faults (using HP System Management Homepage) while the other node may have faults.
Firmware Management Tool • The FMT only discovers supported disk drives. If the external disk enclosure contains a mix of supported and unsupported disk drives, the unsupported disk drives will not be discovered in FMT, although they will be displayed in the System Management Homepage. The FMT does not indicate that an unsupported drive is installed.
System Management Homepage • Software version 3.02.0a ships with Internet Explorer 10. After installing this version and opening the HP System Management Homepage, a message displays that an incompatible browser is running. Although Internet Explorer 9 is the latest version supported with HP System Management Homepage, if you click OK on the message, the HP System Management Homepage will eventually open. This will be addressed in a future release of the System Management Homepage.
