ESL 2U Filler Panel

Remove the full size filler panel by removing the four
screws on the top right of the panel, the two screws
on the front of the expansion cage and the two
screws on the back of the expansion cage. Discard
the filler panel.

Using a Phillips
screwdriver, remove
the two top cover
screws that secure the
expansion cage into the
electronics bay.
Remove the expansion cage
from the electronics bay.

To prepare for
expansion cage
removal, disconnect
the SCSI cables going
from existing Fibre
Channel interface
controllers to the
library’s SCSI
bulkhead.
Remove any
existing Fibre
Channel interface
controllers from the
expansion cage.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, completely
loosen the two captive screws on the
ejector handles of the interface controller.
Disconnect the controller by spreading
the ejector handles, and pull the
controller out of the expansion cage.
Remove all slot covers
from the expansion cage.
