Use a multimeter

if available to

measure the

resistance shown

on the PCI back

plane. If the

multimeter shows

a short, check the

expansion cage

and fan to ensure proper connections, then proceed to

the HP StorageWorks e2400-160 Fibre Channel

interface controller installation instructions.

Install the Fibre Channel interface controllers that were

previously removed into the bottom two slots of the

expansion cage. Align the edges of the controller with

the card guides in the expansion cage. Push the

controller into the cage and pivot the ejector handles

toward each other to fully seat the controller. Using a

Phillips screwdriver, tighten the two captive screws on

the ejector handles.

Reconnect the SCSI cables that go from the Fibre

Channel interface controllers to the library’s SCSI

bulkhead.
