Action
In order to avoid causing damage to the switch, the system shuts down automatically. To help prevent
future problems, make sure that all the fans are working properly.
Make sure that the area is well ventilated and that the room temperature is within operational range of
your switch. Refer to the hardware reference manual for your switch for the operational temperature
range.

the critical threshold too long. In order to avoid causing damage to the switch, the system shuts down
automatically.

Action
This message only occurs on the SilkWorm 3250 and the SilkWorm 3850. Replace the switch because
the fan is not field-replaceable. To help prevent future problems, make sure that the area is well
ventilated and that the room temperature is within operational range of your switch. Refer to the
hardware reference manual for your switch for the operational temperature range.
