Probable Cause Indicates that the number of authentication failures has changed. Authentication failures can
occur for many reasons. The switch on the other side might not support the protocol, have an
invalid certificate, not be signed properly, or send unexpected packets. The port where
authentication fails is segmented. This counter keeps track of the number of authentication
failures.
