1.1 Introduction
This document provides the release notes for HP StoreFront Analytics Pack for VMware vCOPS™ 1.1.

1.2 What’s New in the Management Console
The HP StoreFront Analytics Pack for VMware vCOPS™ 1.1 provides integrated and highly automated
performance, capacity, configuration compliance, and cost management tools to the vCenter Operations
Manager custom Graphical User Interface (GUI). This facilitates the administrator of the virtual
environment to analyze performance, health troubleshooting information of the VMs to the HP 3PAR
Storage Systems in a seamless manner.
The key features in this release are:
• Integration of HP 3PAR Storage Systems into vCenter Operations Manager
• Three out-of-the-box HP dashboards that are ready to be used when the product is installed and
the storage systems are configured.
• You can now view Read and Write performance metrics in addition to the aggregate metrics
(IOPs/kbps, response time) for volumes, physical drives, and ports.
• You can now view tier based capacity information at the array level.
• Support for standalone installation of VCOPS (for both Linux and Windows).
• You can now view the aggregate performance metrics at the array level.
• You can now view the disk drive type (FC/NL/SSD) in the properties tool tip.
• You can now view determine if a volume is thin provisioned or not in the properties tool tip.
1.3 Known Issues
1.3.1 Remote Copy IPs metrics
The Remote Copy IPs (RCIPs) are grouped as iSCSI ports in the HP dashboards. However, the metrics
are not collected for them and the information about them will not be available.
