Using the StoreOnce CLI
The following StoreOnce CLI commands can also be used to identify specific disk locations, to
walk through the hardware tree to identify the disk and enclosure and to flash the Beacon LED on
and off. See Using the StoreOnce CLI (page 18) for a worked example.

Replacing a hot-plug hard disk
1. Identify the disk that has failed as described above.
NOTE: Remember you can use the Beacon LED to identify the physical disk in the storage
controller or expansion shelves.
2. Remove the disk.
Press the hard disk carrier button (1) to release the ejector lever.
Pull out the disk carrier handle and slide the hard drive assembly (2) out of the drive bay.
Be sure to support the drive when pulling it out of the cage.
