1 Spares part numbers for field replacement
This is the Service and Maintenance Guide for the following models of HP StoreOnce Backup. The
information in the appropriate ProLiant Maintenance and Service Guide should be the primary
reference source for hardware issues on the related StoreOnce Backup System. Spares part numbers
are available in the ProLiant guides. This guide contains only information that is not included in
the ProLiant documentation.

For more information about replaceable components that are standard for base ProLiant servers:
1. Go to www.hp.com/support.
2. Search for HP ProLiant DL380p or HP ProLiant DL360p, as appropriate.
3. Select the Server description: “HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 Server” or “HP ProLiant DL360p
Gen8 Server”.
4. Select Service and maintenance information.
5. Open the guide and look at the Illustrated Parts Catalogue.
The following tables provide a quick checklist of all replaceable components that are unique to
HP StoreOnce Backup systems and their spares part numbers. These parts and their replacement
procedures are not referenced in the relevant HP ProLiant server guide and are described only in
this guide.
IMPORTANT: Please refer to chapter 2 for information about upgrading BIOS, hardware firmware
and StoreOnce software. This should always be done using StoreOnce CLI commands.
