1 Getting started
Welcome to the SAN/iQ software and the Centralized Management Console (CMC). Use the
CMC to configure and manage the HP P4000 SAN Solution.
This product guide provides instructions for configuring individual storage systems, as well as for
creating storage clusters, volumes, snapshots, and remote copies.
Using the CMC
Use the CMC to:
• Configure and manage storage systems
• Create and manage the P4000 SAN solution
Layout of the CMC
The CMC is divided into sections, as shown in Figure 1 (page 12).
