recommends you set the value to at least 2 seconds to ensure all SCSI
devices complete their individual power-ups.
Initiator Mode Buffered Tape Writes enables/disables Buffered Tape
Writes which return status on consecutive write commands prior to the
tape device receiving data in order to enhance performance.
Target Mode Buffered Tape Writes enables/disables Buffered Tape Writes
which returns status on consecutive write commands prior to the tape
device receiving data in order to enhance performance.
Select the
[Submit] button to submit changes for any of the above settings.
To change the SCSI settings for a particular bus, select the
[Settings] button
for the appropriate bus number shown. When this option is selected, the
following screen appears.

Initiator ID sets the ID for the SCSI device that requests operations from
other SCSI devices known as targets. This should be a unique ID on the
bus. Default is 7.
Remove Target ID eliminates target IDs previously added.
Add Target ID adds an ID for a SCSI device that responds to operation
requests from the SCSI initiator.
