The bridge will only reply to a SCSI Inquiry when using 8-byte LUN field of

0x00's. Once the bridge has been detected, then the devices on the SCSI-2

can be detected using the SCC Logical unit addressing.

Note The Revision Level comes from the last four characters of the

build string, which appears in the headings for most menu

screens.

Virtual Inquiry Command

Modeled after the INQUIRY Command, this command passes through an

inquiry command to the device with the specified FCP-LUN. In addition to the

INQUIRY Data from the device, 10 extra bytes of vendor unique data is

appended onto the end of the device's data and returned, along with the

device's data, to the initiator.
