5. Enter the designated IP address into the Web browser to launch the
Web-Based Library Administrator pages.
Example:
IP address = 15.28.33.12
Device name = library1
http://library1 or http://15.28.33.12

HP SureStore E Tape Library Models 10/180 and
20/700
NOTE Please read through this section thoroughly before beginning the
configuration process.
NOTE Current SAN support for these libraries requires using either the HP
SureStore E Bridge FC 4/1 HV or the HP SureStore E SCSI Bridge FC 4/2.
CAUTION It is recommended that you DO NOT enable Auto Clean as it may
interfere with the operation of backup software.
This section describes how to configure the library and tape drives for
operation. Configuration requires you to:
• Enable Auto Clean, if desired, (Model 20/700 only) by installing
cleaning cartridges (see “Enabling Auto Clean”).
• Power-on or reset the library (either of which initializes the library).
• Enter the required configuration information.
• Place the library online.
• Send a host or client command to load library audit information into
the host or client memory.
