The maint branc h of the CLI command tree c o ntains c o mmands that relate to maintenance
ac tivities.
The commands in the maint branch can be used only by the Administrator.
No te that the maint.system.resetCo nfig co mmand resets all c onfiguratio n data and no n-
volatile settings, including network information, to their default values (factory settings) .
Management acc ess may be lo st until the network info rmatio n is resto red.
maint.port.beacon
Syntax
beacon portNumber beaconState
Purpose
This command enables or disables port beaconing for a particular port.
Parameters
This command has two required parameters.
Command Ex amples
Root >
maint port beacon 4 false
Root > maint port beacon 4 0
portNumber Specifies the port number. Valid values are:
0–63 for the FC-64
beaconState
Specifies whether unit beaconing is enabled. Valid values are
true and false.
Boolean 1 and 0 may be substituted as values.
