logout
Log out from a telnet, rlogin, or serial port session.
Synopsis
logout
Availability All users
Description Use this command to log out from a telnet, rlogin, or serial port session.
Telnet and rlogin connections are closed, and the serial port returns to the
“login:” prompt.
The commands
exit
and
quit
are accepted as synonyms for
logout
, as
is
control-D
entered at the beginning of a line.
Operands None.
Example To log out from a rlogin session:
