Removing Tapes
Wait until the light on the front of the tape drive stops blinking.
CAUTION: Do not remove a tape during an operation!
You will not be able to read data currently written to the tape
if, during a backup, you either:
pull the tape out of the drive

turn off the power to the computer, or❍
firmly bump the tape or drive.❍

Grasp the tape cartridge firmly and pull it straight out from the drive.2.
