5. Open a command window on the HP SIM server, and then enter the following path:
C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\mibs
6. Execute the mcompile <MIB file> command (for example, mcompile
eva6400.mib).
The system generates a .cfg file (eva6400.cfg in this example) and displays the
following output in the command window (Figure 6):

7. Execute the command mxmib -a <cfg file> (for example, mxmib –a
evapamib.cfg). This registers the new CFG, <myfile.cfg>, or replaces the data of a
previously registered MIB.
Figure 7 shows the output that appears in the command window.

8. Restart the HP SIM service.
