System tab for a storage array
A storage array is a disk array that uses a Fibre Channel controller to connect to a SAN. Additional links
are available on the System Page to access information when a storage array is selected. Included are
the areas that are unique to storage arrays. HP SIM displays data supplied by the array's
SMI-S provider

If the SMI-S provider does not supply data for a particular property, the property does not appear on this
page. For additional information about the tab, see “System tab.
The Ports, Storage Volumes, and Capacity Information sections show the date, time, and duration of
the last data collection task. To update the data, click the Last Update link, and schedule or run a Data
Collection task. For additional information about data collection tasks, see “Data collection.
