The following UPS control parameters can be modified:
¾ The limit value of the input frequency on bypass: when the frequency of the utility power is
out of this range(2-10), the UPS will consider it abnormal and do not work on bypass.
¾ The limit value of the bypass voltage: when the UPS supplies power in bypass mode, if
the utility voltage is out of this range(4-20), the UPS will turn off bypass output.
¾ The limit number of
ERM setting is 0-4.
¾ Allow ON-Key to turn off Audible Warning When UPS Works on Bypass Mode: choose
“Yes”, when the UPS is supplied by bypass. Users can turn off the bypass audible alarm
(beep once every 5 seconds) by pressing the “ON” button on the UPS front panel. To
choose “No”, the “ON” button on the UPS front panel cannot be used to turn off the
bypass audible alarm.
Note: When UPS work on Bypass mode again, the buzzer will be beep again.
¾ Allow ON-Key to turn off Audible Warning When UPS Works on Battery Mode: to choose
“Yes”, when the UPS is supplied by batteries, users can turn off the audible alarm (beep
once every 5 seconds) by pressing the “ON” button on the UPS panel. To choose “No”,
the “ON” button on the UPS the panel cannot be used to turn off the audible alarm
supplied by batteries.
Note: When UPS work on battery mode again, the buzzer will be beep again.
¾ Bypass Audible Warning: to choose “Yes”, when the UPS is supplied by bypass, it is
allowed to have a bypassed audible alarm. To choose “Silent”, when the UPS is supplied
by bypass, it is not allowed to have audible alarm.
¾ Battery Mode Audible Warning: to choose “Yes”, when the UPS is supplied by batteries, it
is allowed to have an audible alarm. To choose “Silent”, when the UPS is supplied by
battery, it is not allowed to have an audible alarm of battery supply.
¾ Work on Bypass When UPS Turned Off: to choose “Yes”, when the UPS is not turned on,
it is in bypass mode. To choose “No”, when the UPS is not turned on, no bypass output is
offered.
¾ Auto Reboot UPS When AC Input Restored: to choose “Yes”, when the UPS is shutdown,
the backup time is exhausted or the battery is in low capacitance. Once the utility power is
recovered, the UPS can restart automatically to the normal operating mode. To choose
“No”, when the utility power is recovered, the UPS cannot restart automatically.
Click the “OK” button to save the changes. Press the “Cancel” button to make the modification
invalid. Press the “Default” button to reset the values.
For the HP T1000v UPS: the user can enable/disable the battery mode audible alarm. Refer to
the following diagram 4-7-2:
