Installation for Windows 2000
If you have Windows 2000 installed on your PC, you must use this alternative installation procedure.
Installing the Drivers
1 Insert the USB Wireless LAN connector into an empty USB port on your PC. Windows will detect the
device and automatically start the Found New Hardware Wizard.
Once Windows has completed the Found New Hardware Wizard, the Add/Eject New Hardware icon will appear
on the right-hand side of the Windows taskbar. This icon indicates that Windows has successfully
detected the USB Wireless LAN.
2 Follow the instructions of the Upgrade Device Wizard. When prompted to look for the driver, select Search
for a suitable driver for my device (recommended).
3 When prompted to search for the location of the driver, select CD-ROM and click the Next button.
4 Once Windows has found the driver, click Next.
5 If Windows displays a message regarding the Microsoft Digital Signature, click Ye s .

durchführen.
Installieren der Treiber
1 Schließen Sie das USB Wireless LAN Gerät an einen freien USB-Anschluss an Ihrem PC an. Daraufhin
erkennt Windows das Gerät, und der Assistent für das Suchen neuer Hardware wird automatisch gestartet.
Nach Abschluss des Assistenten für das Suchen neuer Hardware wird das Symbol zum Hinzufügen bzw.
Auswerfen der Hardware auf der rechten Seite der Windows Task-Leiste angezeigt. Dieses Symbol
zeigt an, dass Windows das USB Wireless LAN erkannt hat.
2 Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen des Assistenten zum Aktualisieren von Gerätetreibern. Wenn Sie zum Suchen
nach dem Treiber aufgefordert werden, wählen Sie Nach einem passenden Treiber für das Gerät suchen
(empfohlen) aus.
3 Wenn Sie zur Eingabe des Treiberstandorts aufgefordert werden, wählen Sie CD-ROM aus, und klicken
Sie danach auf die Schaltfläche Weiter.
4 Sobald der Treiber von Windows gefunden wurde, klicken Sie auf Weiter.
5 Wenn Windows eine Meldung in Bezug auf die Microsoft Digitale Signatur anzeigt, klicken Sie auf Ja.

Si Windows 2000 est installé sur votre PC, vous devez suivre la procédure d’installation suivante :
Installation des pilotes
1 Insérez le connecteur LAN USB sans fil dans un port USB libre de votre PC. Windows détecte
automatiquement le périphérique et démarre automatiquement l’Assistant Ajout de nouveau matériel
détecté.
Lorsque l’Assistant Ajout de nouveau matériel détecté a terminé, l’icône Ajouter/Ejecter un nouveau périphérique
apparaît en bas à droite de la barre des tâches de Windows. Cette icône indique que Windows a
correctement détecté le LAN USB sans fil.
2 Suivez les instructions de l’assistant de mise à niveau du périphérique (Upgrade Device Wizard). Lorsqu’un
message vous invite à rechercher le pilote, sélectionnez Rechercher un pilote adapté pour mon périphérique
(recommandé).
3 A l’invite de recherche de l’emplacement du pilote, sélectionnez CD-ROM et cliquez sur Suivant.
4 Cliquez sur Suivant lorsque Windows a trouvé le pilote.
5 Si Windows affiche un message concernant la Signature numérique Microsoft, cliquez sur Oui.
