Procedures for Managing Partitions

Chapter 4160

HP-UX Commands The following procedure uses the parstatus HP-UX commands to

determine the partition number of the local (current) partition.

Step 1. Log in to HP-UX running on the partition.

Step 2. Issue the parstatus -w command to list the partition number for the

local partition.

The parstatus -P command lists all partitions within the Superdome

complex, including the local partition.

# parstatus -w

The local partition number is 0.

# parstatus -P
