Determining Which Partitions are Defined in the
Complex
A list of the partitions currently defined in a Superdome complex can be
displayed using the HP-UX command parstatus, or using the Partition
Manager.
HP-UX Commands
Step 1. The -P option to the parstatus command will display a list of partitions
and their current status:
/usr/sbin/parstatus -P
Partition Manager
Step 1. Run the Partition Manager (parmgr).
The left-hand side of the Partition Manager’s primary display window
always displays a list of the partitions currently defined in the complex
(plus the special partition known as “Available Resources” which
contains all of the resources that are not currently assigned to any other
partition).
You can perform this task using HP-UX commands or
Partition Manager.
