Determining the Serial Number of a Complex
If you need to determine the serial number of your Superdome complex,
for example when making a support call, you can use the -X option to the
HP-UX command parstatus, or you can use the Partition Manager to
locate this information.
HP-UX Commands
Step 1. /usr/sbin/parstatus -X
Partition Manager
Step 1. Run the Partition Manager (parmgr).
The Partition Manager can be run from:
• an HP-UX command line
• a Web browser
• the System Administration Manager utility (SAM)
You can perform this task using HP-UX commands or
Partition Manager.
