5. If removal is s uccessful, make sure that swremove rebuilds t he kernel
and reboots the s ystem. If this does not occur, you should manually
rebuild the kernel by entering:
# cd /stand
# mk_kernel
When this succeeds, replace the currently running kernel with the
new kernel:
# kmupdate
