Creating the TTGEN Configuration File
Configuration Parameters
The Configuration section is used to define the global parameters for the
ZCOM message system. Some of these parameters have default values
that will be used if the parameter is not specified. However, it is
recommended that all values are entered, since the default values will
not be optimal for every configuration.
Note that throughout this chapter, the term “Terminal ZLU” is used to
refer to a physical or logical entity, not necessarily an actual physical
terminal device. For example, a terminal ZLU might refer to a physical
entity such as a HDLC/LAP-B link or a terminal. A terminal ZLU could
also refer to a logical entit y such as a Virtual Circuit or “loopback
protocol” module.
