traceopt firmware trace option flags
This parameter specifies the options for the internal firmware tracing. A
value of 0 disables all firmware tracing. The traceopt keyword may be
specified multiple times for a single interface. The values specified will
be ORed together to produce the desired value of the traceopt parameter.
Level (bits 16-19) Indicates the importance level of
tracedatatobecaptured.Ahigher
number will result in more trace
events being captured.
L (bit 14): Set to enable internal hardware
tracing.
B (bit 13): Set to enable firmware tracing in
event buffer.
Trace group flags (bits 0-12): A series of one bit flags set to indicate
which groups of trace poin ts are
enabled.
Symbolic values for the traceopt parameters are defined in the
/opt/acc/cfg/ttgendefine include file. Please consult this file for the
keywordstousetoselectthevariousfirmwaretracingoptions.
Trace information will be available to HP support in an ACC dump file if
tracing is enabled when the ACC dump is taken. HP support may
provide additional information on extracting trace informat ion from a
live ACC card if required to assist in diagnosing a particular problem.
