How Local Failover Works

Consider a hypothetical HyperFabric configuration in a 4-node cluster,

with each node having two adapters (see Figure 9). In this configuration,

there is no single point of failure, and all adapters that are installed on

any given node are configured as part of a card pair.

switch ports, switches, and cables between switches in a cluster are

discussed in the following sections.
