Using NetWare Utilities to Set Up Network Printing
2 Add the following lines to the file:
NetWare DOS Requester
network printers =
number
Replace number with the number of printer connections.
Maximum = 9
Default = 3
For example, to allow for the maximum number of printer connections, you
would type
NetWare DOS Requester
network printers = 9
3 Save your changes and exit the ASCII text editor.
The NetWare User Tools for DOS (the NETUSER Utility)

Redirect a printer port to the network
The NETUSER utility is a NetWare workstation utility located in the
SYS:PUBLIC directory. A default drive mapping should exist for the
SYS:PUBLIC directory (the default is drive Z:).
NOTE: The NETUSER utility is available in NetWare 4 networks only.
Specify the port assignment you want by completing the following
procedure.
Procedure
1 Change to the SYS:PUBLIC directory.
