show boot-config
Synopsis:
The show boot-config command lists the image and configuration files that are used to initialize chassis
firmware and configure the interfaces.
Syntax:
show boot-config
Command Modes:
User-execute and privileged-execute modes.
Privilege Level:
General read-only user.
Usage Guidelines:
This command lists the files that were used to bring-up the system, the files to use the next time the system
is rebooted, and the backup files to use in the event that the primary boot files are not available.
The fields in the show boot-config output are described in the table below.

Field Description
slot-id Slot identifier of the controller card in use. This value is either 1 or 14.
sw-version Version of the software-image used to initialize chassis components.
last-image-source Directory name of the system-image used to initialize chassis components.
last-config-source Name of the file used to configure chassis interface cards and set system parameters.
primary-image-source Name and directory location of the system-image to use to initialize chassis components the next
time the system reboots.
primary-config-source Name of the configuration file to use to restore the system configuration the next time the system
reboots. This field is affected by the save running-config command.
secondary-image-source Alternate image directory to use to initialize the system. This file is used if the file specified in
primary-image-source is not available.
secondary-config-source Alternate configuration file to use to restore the system configuration. This file is used if the file
specified in primary-config-source is not available.
