Show Commands
Appendix B
148
show ib
The show ib command displays information about the subnet manager running on the fabric. The information
displayed is used to configure the subnet manager, including the nodes and ports within that subnet.
Synopsis:
The show ib sm configuration command displays information about the subnet managers running on the
fabric.
Syntax:
show ib sm configuration
This command requires several keywords, which are shown in the table below.
Table B-9 show ib Keyword Descriptions
Keyword Description
configuration Displays the configuration of the subnet manager that is running on the fabric. It includes information like
the subnet manager GUID, SM Key, and status. See “show ib sm configuration” on page 170.
neighbor Displays the inter-connectivity of nodes on the subnet and their GUIDs. It identifies the GUID of each
node, the node ports, and the ports to which they are linked. It includes information like node type and
status. See “show ib sm neighbor” on page 172.
node Displays the configuration and attributes of nodes on the subnet. In addition to node and port GUIDs, this
command keyword identifies the node device and vendor. See “show ib sm node” on page 174.
port Displays the configuration and attributes of ports on the subnet. It includes information like link and virtual
lane attributes, as well as packet violations. See “show ib sm port” on page 177.
switch Displays the configuration and capabilities of switches on the subnet. This includes information like the
type of forwarding supported and switch capabilities. See “show ib sm switch” on page 184.
