show ib sm switch
Synopsis:
The show ib sm switch command identifies subnet management switches, the nodes they belong to, their
capabilities, and their link statistics.
Syntax:
show ib sm switch subnet-prefix
subnet prefix
| all [node-guid guid] [summary]
The arguments associated with this command are described below:
show ib sm switch configuration Syntax Description
Command Modes:
User-execute and privileged-execute modes.
Privilege Level:
HP Fabric read-only user.
Usage Guidelines:
Switch information may be reported for all the switches on a specific subnet or all the switches comprising a
specific node. The output may also be displayed in summary form.
The fields in the show ib sm switch output are described in the table below.

Syntax Description
subnet-prefi
x
subnet prefix
Enter the subnet prefix of the subnet managers that you want to display.
all Shows all the subnet managers that are currently configured and running on the fabric.
node-guid
guid
Include the guid of a node to display only the configuration of that node.
summary An abridged form of the data may be returned by including the summary keyword at the end of the
command line. The abridged information includes the subnet-manager prefix and node-GUID.

Field Description
subnet-prefix 64-bit value that identifies the HP Fabric Clustering System subnet to which this node belongs.
node-guid 64-bit GUID of the node to which this switch belongs.
linear-fdb-cap Maximum number of entries allowed in the linear unicast forwarding table. 0 (zero) indicates that
there is no linear forwarding database.
