show interface ib
Synopsis:
The show interface ib command displays the IP parameters and statistics for ports on Fabric interface cards.
Syntax:
show interface ib card
/
port
| all [
sma args
] [statistics]
The syntax is described in the table below:
Command Modes:
User-execute and privileged-execute modes.
Privilege Level:
HP Fabric read-only user.
Usage Guidelines:
Without the optional sma sub-command or statistics keyword, the show interface ib command displays
general information about the Fabric interface port, such as its administrative status, its operational speed
and status, and duplex mode.
The output fields of the show interface ib command are described in the table below.

Syntax Description
card/port Refers to an individual card#/port# pair, a range of cards/ports, a list of cards/ports, or the keyword all.
all Use instead of entering individual card#/port# pair, or a range of cards/ports
sma args The sma sub-command displays the attributes and table data for subnet management agents that access
Fabric ports. For an explanation of the sma sub-command, see “show interface ib sma” on page 102.
statistics The statistics keyword displays network statistics for the Fabric port on the interface card. The information
displayed is octets, unicast and multicast packets, discarded packets, protocol errors, etc.

Field Description
port Identifies the Fabric interface card and port. The format is card#/port#.
name User assigned name. If no name is assigned, the port name is displayed instead. This field is set by the
config interface ib name command.
