Where larger numbers of nodes are required, HP recommends cascading AB291A 12-port 4X Fabric Copper
Switches (see Figure 3-3) to create at most an 18-node fabric. Other topologies are possible but are not
recommended.
For larger configurations, HP recommends the use of a high-port count switch. Contact your HP
representative for information on such a product.
