link-trap
Synopsis:
The link-trap interface command generates link-up and link-down traps on HP Fabric Clustering System
interfaces.
Syntax:
link-trap
no link trap
The commands sytax is described in the table below:
Command Modes:
Configuration Interface (config-if) mode.
Privilege Level:
HP Fabric read-write user.
Usage Guidelines:
A link-up trap is generated when the operation status (oper-status)changes to up. A link-down trap is
generated when the operation status changes to down.
Examples:
This example enables link-trap generation for interface ports 1 and 5, on card 15. The resulting traps are sent
to trap receivers, as defined by the config snmp trap-receiver command.
HP-IB(config-if-ib-15/1-15/5)# link-trap
Defaults:
The default is no link-trap.
