shutdown
Synopsis:
The shutdown command sequence enables or disables HP Fabric Clustering System interfaces.
Syntax:
shutdown
no shutdown
The commands sytax is described in the table below:
Command Modes:
Configuration interface (config-if) mode.
Privilege Level:
HP Fabric read-write user.
Usage Guidelines:
Fabric ports must be enabled before they can be configured. Attempts to configure a disabled Fabric port will
result in an error message. If you get an error message, display the information for the ports in question.
Examples:
HP-IB(config-if-ib-15/1-15/6)# no shutdown
The result of this command is reflected in the admin-status field when displaying interface information. This
example sets the admin-status field for ports 1 through 6 on HP Fabric Clustering System card 15 to up.
Defaults:
The default interface name is card#/port#.
