Syntax:
clock hh:mm:ss dd mm yy
Command Modes:
Global-configuration mode.
Privilege Level:
Unrestricted and general read-write user.
Usage Guidelines:
Time is maintained in one of two ways:
• An on-board system clock
• External NTP servers
Time is set at the factory. To ensure accurate synchronization, it is recommended that you use an external
NTP server. This causes log dates to be synchronized with other management systems.
Examples:
HP-IB(config)# clock set 19:22:10 25 05 15
Defaults:
This command has no defaults.
