Using NetTL
The Network Tracing and Logging facility (NetTL) is a troubleshooting tool used to gather information on
network activity by logging events and tracing inbound and outbound packets.
NOTE This section is an overview of the NetTL facility as it relates to IB and IPoIB. For more detailed
information on the NetTL facility, refer to the nettl manpage.
Starting Logging and Tracing
Description: This command starts logging and tracing using the NetTL facility.
Syntax: nettl -st
Syntax Example: nettl -st
Output Example:
Initializing Network Tracing and Logging...
Done.
Displaying Logging Levels
Description: This command displays logging levels using the NetTL facility.
Syntax: nettl -ss
Syntax Example: nettl -ss
Output Example:
