NOTE By default, only ERROR and DISASTER logging classes are displayed with the nettl -ss
command. To enable INFORMATIVE, WARNING and ERROR logging classes, use the
procedure outlined below.
Enabling INFORMATIVE, WARNING and ERROR Logging Classes
Description: This command displays INFORMATIVE, WARNING and ERROR logging classes using the
NetTL facility.
Syntax: nettl -l [log class] -e [subsystem]
where [log class] can be one of these: i (INFORMATIVE); w (WARNING) or e (ERROR)
Syntax Example: nettl -l i w e -e IPOIB
Stopping Logging and Tracing
Description: This command stops logging and tracing using the NetTL facility.
Syntax: nettl -sp
Syntax Example: nettl -sp
